I have a clunking or thumping sound when I go over bumps, coming from the front. It really doesn't matter what speed I'm going, or whether or not I'm turning. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. The front DRIVER side tire is wearing heavily on the outside shoulder. BUT, the car pulls slightly to the right at any speed.
I just replaced all 4 shocks and springs, put on new tires, and had the car aligned. The clunking is still there. It still pulls to the right. The same tire is still wearing oddly. I checked all the ball joints for cracks, and re-torqued every component to spec. Here are the camber/toe readings from the alignment (they were all within 0.05 of the original alignment numbers, and all within OE spec.)
Left Front: -0.10 degrees, .0.01"
Right Front: -0.11 degrees, .0.02"
Left Rear: -1.75 degrees, 0.04"
Right Rear: -1.80 degrees, 0.08"
What could have worn out that would cause this wear and this clunking? Thanks in advance for your ideas.
