Oil Leak

Is it possible for a head gasket to leak oil just out of the block. In other words not mix the water and oil and not leak into the cylinders. I have this stain that keeps reappearing along the front of the block on the drivers side corner. Valve cover gaskets are new and still clean.

that could also be your oilpump.

That was my first thought too but i thought the leak was too high. It's comes out on the bolts for the brace on the side motor mount. I will try to get a pic up of it.

you can see it on the two pictures in the circled area. I didn't notice it on that upper area behind the t-belt until just today when I took the pictures.

Check your TB for oil on it - if yes camshaft(s) oil seals.

check your spark plug well. If you have a leaky oil cap gasket, oil will get past the cap and collect in the plug well. Enough oil gets in there, and it will drip out the weep hole, which is exactly where that spot is. Look at the bottom of valve cover. You will see a small hole.

Yes there was tons of oil on my TB and the manifold had a thick layer of it. I got most of it out of there but you can only ask soo much of one can of TB Cleaner. You think the cam end seals leaking will cause me to smoke bad at WOT? I seem to smoke when ever the boost comes on.

Turbo is brand new cause I thought it was the problem. It was only part of it I see now.

What else can I do about a leaky oil cap. I've replaced the cap twice and I'm even trying two gaskets on the cap now?

Dos your car smoke right away or it takes couple of minutes till it worms up and then it smokes?

temp doesn't matter just smokes at boost. I can really only notice it at night when someones headlights shine into it. But when someone is behind me they tell me it really stinks. I can smell it some too I think that's cause my manifold has a hairline in the bottom of it. YEA 1G manifolds

Tip: You may want to replace that TB since it has been impregnated with oil which causes them to stretch and cause much bigger problems.
