Well im trying to boost up my car and im pretty sure it can be boosted up. What can the slow turnover be caused by alternator, battery? Or is there something really wrong?

What do you mean boosted up? Alot of things could make the car not want to turn over, Starter, Alternator, Battery ??

starter motor could be getting old/weak/sticky. Or battery is low.
