Lasalle,
I was going a Water Pump job on my car and for some reason at the same time my Coil went, code 44 on the Logger, So i swopped to my other coil and the car started fine.

Today I went back out to finish the job and hook up all the pullies and stuff, car starts and its fine. Let it warm up at idle and I start revving it a little, then the car stutters just like before and gives the same code 44 Igniton coil....

Does anyone have any advice why TWO different coils would go bad at the same time? I'm thinking this is some sort of electical problem and not directly related to the coil.

Ok I went back out there and started her up again and it was stuttering, and then it was fine, and then it was sturrering agian, as if the coils were going on and off..... This is really weird.

Ok, I got brand new plugs and wires, gapped them right and everything, but still nothing. It just sputters and sits at 500 RPM! Could it be my ECU?

Problem solved. Changed the power transistor (the other black peice) and it worked fine. It was that the whole time not the coil pack.
