Anyone know that thread size thats in there for those bolts? Where can i get a stud extractor?I dont think i have ever even seen what one looks like. This is an EVO turbo and i dont want to mess it up.Help

Get a VERY GOOD (not a cheap ass one, or you will go no where fast) drill bit, some lube to put on it as you keep drilling, then an extractor set. Spray the crap out of it for a while with penatrating oil too, it might help break it free a bit easier. Also get a scribe and get any corrosion and debrit away from the threads where it connects to the head. It's gonna be a mo fo, but you can do it.

I'm pretty sure there is a vfaq on it too.

liquid wrench and a vicegrips got mine out, i sprayed liquid wrench, waited 10 mins and got a broken bolt out of my manifold

One of them is broken off even with it and the other one i tried a brand new set of vise grips with pb blast penetrant on the threads and no luck.I am going to try a scribe around the edges and keep doing the PB blast. The other one i guess i will drill it out and maybe tap a one size bigger hole and put a bigger bolt in there.Broken and stripped bolts ar the worst thing. When using a new drill bit, should i drill a small hole and then work my way up to a bigger one or just go ahead and drill it out the size of the bolt?I guess i will wrap the turbo all up to keep from getting metal shavings in there. Thanks for the inputs.I will keep trying...

I have a AGP turbo kit and i left the one on the bottom right corner off anyways, it's a bi*** to get too. I got a multi layer manifold gasket and also put some copper spray on it. I have no leaks at all. I believe I also am missing another one on the top row somewhere, it broke also, i'm just too lazy to fix it, besides, if it isn't leaking, i'm not going to fix it.

That's not the proper way of solving it, but hey....it works
