I installed the AFC2 today in my car - left the ECU out and everything - and the car fired right up. I had it running for a few minutes, with the AFC working properly.

I put back the ECU, taped off the wiring, and then went to crank the car over...

It just keeps trying to crank over, like its not getting fuel or something? I can't remember if there was usually a humming from the fuel pump, with the key in the "ON" position? If there was, it isn't there now...

My question is this: If it was running fine, then I went to patch everything back up, what could've gone wrong?

Everything in the car lights up, the AFC turns on, everything works. But when you go to crank it over, just keeps turning over, like its just not getting fuel.

Do you have any suggestions? Any help would be really appreciated - this is my daily driver :(

I re-opened everything back up, and nothing has come loose... Maybe trying to get the ECU back into the spot behind the radio I banged it or something? Is the ECU unti extremely fragile?

This is my daily driver, and I'm not going to be able to get to work tomorrow! Please, I'm staying up and watching this post, if you have ANY suggestions let me know, I'll give it a shot ASAP, and report back here..

Thanks very much for the space.
Thanks alot for any help...

While doing the install, I didn't notice any pinouts that had anything to do with the fuel pump.

Is there anything at all in the AFC2 install that would stop voltage from going to the pump?

Any ideas at all would be awesome, just thought I would mention the above stuff.

Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure I used to hear my pump whine, when the key is in the ON position, is that what you mean?

My car wont actually crank over, just keeps trying to crank and trying to crank, flor the gas pedal, no change at all.

Does anyone else have any other input/suggestions? Thanks very much for that help!

Here's how I wired everything up, just in case it might be wrong:

AFC ECU
Brown---------------------Black w/orange-btm right pin in 10 pin connector.
Black----------------------Same as above, just father away.
Red------------------------Red w/black bands-btm row 2nd from right-10 pin conn.
Blue------------------------Not sure what color-top 4th from left-24 pin conn.
Purple---------------------White w/orange-top 4th from right-24 pin conn.
Orange--------------------Green w/blue w/orange-top 3rd from left-24 pin conn.
Grey----------------------Green w/white-btm row 6th from left-24 pin conn.
Pink-----------------------Green w/blue/orange-top 3rd from left-24 pin conn.
Green---------------------Black-btm 4th from left-24 pin conn.

Yellow/White are not used right?

I'm sorry to keep asking and posting about my problem. Its just that this is my daily driver, and I had to take today off from work and everything. I really need to get this fixed, if you have any suggestions at all, I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks again for any help!

Hey guys I got the car to run...

I'm getting check engine code 12, which has to do with the volume of air entering the motor, it mentions the harness...

Any ideas?

Thanks!
