I just installed new front axles (both of them) and I get a squealing noise now when I turn left (even a little bit). Is this normal or do I have a problem?

The squealing seems to only happen when I'm going forward (not reverse).

I did something that may have been really stupid, but I dunno:
I used brake parts cleaner on my lower control arm ball join because it was NASTY and put some new grease in there along with a new boot. Is it possible I damaged something doing this? Could this make the squealing I described?

OK, fixed the problem...VERY easy.

It was just the metal shield behind the rotor that was scraping the rotor itself. Just had to pull it away a bit and all was better. Hope this helps someone in the future. :thumb:
