My upstream o2 sensor is reading 0.6 volts 24% at idle and when driving it drops from 0.0 to 0.4 volts. My rear o2 which doesnt really matter but it reading 0.96 volts and 99% So do I have a bad upstream or what should it be operating at?
Also the only code coming up on the pockelogger is running to lean but my muffler is dark black inside and my spark plugs are black as hell too. So wouldnt that be running to rich? The air/fuel gauge is also always around the lean side when driving. If you dont remember my car want to die at idle and the engine jerks after a couple secounds in each gear when I drive it.

All that black shit is carbon, which would mean that you are running overly rich. Is the ECU throwing any codes? It sounds like your upstream O2 sensor is beat. Even if the O2 sensor is beat it won't always throw a code. From those voltages it does sound like the sensor is beat.

The only code that its throwing is running to lean bank 1. wich is weird because the exhaust and plugs seem like its to rich.

Shit I just re-read your post and I see it said the code (I was tired when I wrote the other post - my bad ;)). Anyway, thats weird, but I could see the O2 sensor causing that. It still sounds like the O2 sensor IMO. Good luck!
