Cruise Control cuts off?

While commuting back and forth to work on the highway, ill have my car in cruise control, usualy set at about 75, not to fast not to slow, engine isnt even pushing hard, and cruise control just turns off and car decelerates.... Anyone have this problem? anyone have a fix or should i just have the cruise control replaced?

There's a cutoff switch on the clutch pedal, and on the brake pedal. If you can be trusted, and have the brains to turn off the CC on your own when you need to, disconnect one at a time until you find the problem's gone away.

well my car is automatic, so you think its the switch in the brake pedla malfunctioning and not the cruise control computer it self?

There's probably another switch on the shift lever or the linkage, but I'm too lazy to try looking it up just now. You'll still have the brake shutoff.
