Possible exhaust leak?

If the car feels like it has a small boost leak, i hear more noise then usual, hissing, under boost, and smell a little exhaust in when accelerating does that mean i may have a crak in the turbine housing?

That's a hard one to guess at. You'll want to check the downpipe and forward from there. It could be as simple as the gasket between the exhaust mani and head.

My exhaust leak had a "ziptie caught in a fanblade" sound under boost, But only if I boosted hard during the first minute or so during the first start-up in the morning. (not something i usually do). then the sound went away after the first minute once the leaky gasket expanded w/ the engine warmth and sealed itself up.

well i hope to be replacign most of what could be leakign this summer, i guess it can wait that long till i pull it appart
