Yo guys, quick question.

My engine started to stutter a bit, sounded like a one cylinder misfire. When i put load on the engine the stuttering goes away, but, when its idling, it misses speratically. I was messing around with a few things and cam across the cam sensor and i started to adjust it (advance/retard). As i retarted it, the stuttering went away, but if i advanced the timing too much the stuttering would get worse. I also, noticed, if i retard the ignition timing too much, the car runs like a dawg. If I advance it, it pulls real hard and strong through every gear.

Anyone ever have this problem and knows how to fix it?. I don't know if its all that bad to have astutter at idle, but idont like it. I would rather have it idle smooth.

any ideas?

Hallo, yeah I had the same problem, and after a new isc, sparkplugs, cables, cleaning the throttlebody, new computer and checking for vaciuum leaks I found out that is was my fuel filter!!!(it still was the first fuel filter and my car had run allmost 190000km).

But the car drives really good now. No stuttering and bad idle. Aaah Sweet
