you have my exact symptoms man.........im getting alot of no itsnot crankwalk check your throwout baring <----most likely

listen to me carefully turn your car off and pop you hood get someone to push the clutch in and out till you can pin point where the sound is comming from....listen carfull to see if it over by the tranny.......then listen for it by the Crankbolt thing. mine is really loud over by the tranny and a little more tame from the crankbolt side......so im prayin its just the throwout baring..........ill let you know what i find out........scary huh ? wish me luck OMG

gl man... i think mine is just comming from the pedal itself. but m going to go check now.

I believe it is just the pedal assembly. Supposedly there is a pivot point that will squeak/click if it is not lubricated adequately. Mine does this as well, has been going on since Fall of 03. I haven't noticed any difference in engagement or what not.

i just got done checking and it seems like the clutch pedal is sound, so i dont know, it also only does this maybe 20 out of 100 pushes.. at the most. also, shouldnt my clutch pedal be smooth the whole way in and out.. i was pushing it with my hand, and at the last inch comming up it like lets out really easy.. does your clutches do the same?

This may seem obvious, but it could just be that you have a rusty spring in there that is dying. But I assume you've already checked for that?

I had the same Problem LOL dont go through major work by takeing out the tranny and looking at the throw out bearing. IM NOT saying that, that is not your problem. But with my 97 talon the pedal would grind when going in only, I have no engagment problems no tranny problems at all. I just sprayed some lube up in there, and it went away, it was just the pedal it self it was rusty try that first might be your problem. Hope it helps :)
