I got teh engine from badboyr66 and oil was drained like 2-3 weeks before shipping, when i got the engin eit was completely dry (It stood without oil for about 4-5 weeks maybe more) we just finished putting in motor 2day and when we started this knocking just show up from the beginning......we shut it off after 45-60 seconds...My dad says if the engine is dry and you out oil in it u gotta wait until valves get in place and get proper pressure and ETC..I had the same thing when i changed engine in my odl eclipse,Dad says knocking went off after like 10-15 minutes
P.S: OIl pressure light goes off, and Whoel Cyl head at the top is good cuz we took out manifold,Cams arent lose and from teh look all the valves are good.
What might be teh problem if knocking will not stop Please Help ASAP
