I am in the middle of my brake job on my 90 laser rs n/t and the rear right caliper threads back in and then midway it stops going in, it still turns but isnt going back into the caliper anymore. I cant fit the caliper over the new rotor and pads unless it goes in all the way. The fronts compressed in fine and they are done. The rears thread in but only halfway, why? Please help fast, need to be at work soon!

No, but the ebrake cables aren't connected to the caliper right now, it is just dangling there. I was going to connect it back once I had the caliper bolted back up.

Well thanks for the suggestion anyway, I wont need to toy with the adjuster for now. After I have the calipers remounted then yes. I am going to try the other side now and see if they both stop in the same spot.

Alright I figured it out! I used a combination of c-clamping to put pressure on it and needle nose pliers to screw it back. I guess it just needed plenty of pressure behind it. The brakes are working great now. :thumb:
