ok ive got 95 tsi awd, lately ill start the car no problem, drive for like 5 mins come to a stop, it will start to idle at 2k! and today it was idleing at 1200rpms!! the car drives fine. Could this have anything to do wit a broke o2 sensor? my secondary o2 sesnor is messed up.

ASLo the anti-lock light came up on the dash! the car brakes fine, ive even slammed on the brakes a couple of times, nothing has happened. What wouldve causeed this to happen?

also what fuse do i pull out to reset the ecu?

im a n00b on dsms.

the antilock light usually means your brake fluid is low

checked the fluid its perfect. I disconnected the negative terminal from the battery and now the check engine light is gone. But when i come to a stop th ecar idles t 5oorpms then goes up to around high600 or low 700 rpms, it kinda shakes too. Prolly gonna have to do a tuneup.

Ive have basically the same problem. My antilock light have been on non stop since i bought my 95 tsi 3 weeks ago. I still havent figured that out. As for the idling problem. Mine does that to. After watching my SAFC I came to realize that I was still reading a certain percentage of throttle still being applied. When yours idles crazy either tap the gas pedal really quick or go under the hood and push you throttle all the way closed. Im not sure what causes this or how to fix it permanently. Thats what works for me untill I figure out how to permanently fix this. I believe the kid i bought my car off of said that the throttle cable sticks in the cruise control box. I dont know if its true or not.
