Ok, I found out that the loud screaching and grinding noise was my waterpump. So I detatch everything, and when I'm trying to take off the cam cover i realize that the bolts holding it on are so long that they can't be pulled out because they hit the engine bay before they come all the way out. Has anyone had to do this and found a way around this? thanks

is it a 420a? If it is not when you took the motor mount off i hope you put a jack under it. You can use the jack to push the motor up and give you some clearance. If it doesn't go high enough take off you front mount and it should work. Thats what i did with mine and it worked. Although i dont know why your having problems with that. The bolts should have plenty of room to come out.

Yeah it is a 420a. I do have a jack under the side wear the mounts off. I'm not sure how much longer the bolts are, but with the mount pushed back all the way and the bolts pulled out as far as theyll go they still aren't enough to take out. I'll try jacking up my motor high enough like you said.
