Okay, finally got the idle problem fixed. Timing belt was off a tooth.
Now I have another problem. Everynow and then, at WOT the car runs like it's NA. My boost guage shows 15 psi, but the car sure isn't moving anywhere fast (it not fuel cut, I've experienced that many, many times). And it's not like a sputter that's associated with bad plugs and wires. No smoke when boosting. You can still hear the turbo whistling like a banshee, but there's just no pull. Wondering if it's pulled timing. Could it make that much of a difference? For example, last year best run: 14.6 @ 93, last weekend: 15.8 @ 90.
Seems to happen most in first and second gear and when the car is warmed up. There is a noticable hiss at idle right around the TB, but if it's a boost leak, then why can I still run 15 psi and somestimes 16 psi?
Thanks for the help.
