Hope you guys can help...

91 Plymouth Laser RS
73,500 miles

I was driving down the hyway with a bad alternator (I know), and the battery ended up overcharging.....the cap came off and there was just steam. The car completely shut down and i had it towed back to my house.

I had the alternator and battery replaced with new ones, as well as a radio fuse and rear wiper fuse.

I started up the car it idled extremely smooth as usual. I took her for a spin and once i get to about 3,000 rpms...2 to psi, the car will kind of jerk like to doesn't want to boost. In 5th itll boost to like 10psi but once you get to about 3,000 itll start to hesitate.

I checked the ecu and it looks mint and there is no odd smell or ticking coming from it.

I do have the battery being drained after i left it out for the night ( figured it was a short)

HELP!

The battery connections are fine, as well as the grounds.

Just noticed that the drivers side seat belt is not moving.

Well, checked the wastegate and it was fine. Im gonna do a leak test soon.

I just remembered that the guages went out of control when the battery exploded.

I'm guessing its the ecu. I looked at it and it seemed fine, but im guessing you can't really tell just by looking at it.

it was the ecu....

the battery was draining becuase the drivers side seatbelt stopped working.

I still don't know why the radio resest every time I turn the car off. or why the defroster is always on.
