strange boost guage question.

I have an Apexi 60 mm boost guage. When I first turn the key to the acessories position, my boost guage sits at 0 boost. Then when I start the car it will stay at 0 until I drive the car and boost up past 0 and then it will ready my vaccum. It doesn't always do this sometimes I will start the car and it will read good vaccum and other times it won't

mine does the exact same thing, i dont know why it does that either.

Thats wierd, maybe its defective? I'd try calling APEXi, it doesn't sound like an installation problem because it eventually does work, maybe they have a bad batch of them. Good luck and i hope you guys get it sorted out!

no no, mine is an autometer gauge not an apexi.

Kinked hose, blocked hose, bent gauge guts, or connected to the wrong port on the throttle body instead of the plenum.
