Low vac at idle and decel

Ok, I only get about 12-14 hg vac at idle and 15-16 hg on decel. Whats going on here? I boost about 12psi fine...car runs pretty good...idles good. I know I could have a boost/vac leak somewhere but like i said the car runs fine. Could it maybe be a bad boost gauge? Any ideas? Thanks

I'd suspect you have the gauge hooked up to a ported passage. Go straight to the plenum.
