Charcoal box ??? 3 lines going to intake

I'm installing the 6 bolt and i noticed how damn large the Charcoal box is on the car. Now is it the same a supra where i can just take it off ?? i know it's used to vent the gas tank and stuff and so on but can i take this off for space and clean up the enigne bay?? There are three lines going to the top of the intake manifold that come from this box. I would like to get rid of them anyone do it before ?????
