starter located for your inconvenience

the starter went on my 97 TSi AWD. does anybody know of a better way to get at it because i don't seem to have enough elbows to get at it easily. I took out the battery and wastegate hose and its still hard. Diamond-Star did a good job locating it under the intake manifold, where you need to have Stretch Armstrong's flexibility to get at it.

Taking out the battery and the box is step one, removing the hose to the throttle body is another. All you have to do is remove the two bolts right there in the front that follow along the transmission. Once you pull those off, you can manuver the starter easier to pull off the wires from the solenoid.
