I dunno if this is a crank pulley problem just want to know what you all think...here it goes....Like every 3 weeks or so my alternator belt get's so loose that it starts squealing like crazy. The adjustment screw and the lock down bolt always are hand tight. So every time i start to hear the squeal (about every 3 weeks). I got to tighten the bolts back down. Could a crank pulley about to go out cause these bolts to vibrate loose every 3 weeks or so? Or is the alternator belt adjustor just old and worn out?

Just check the crank pulley and see if theres any play. I know on my 1g its easy to get to. I dont know if its the same setup but you can check. I took off the driver side front wheel and unscrewed the whole wheel well. After all that is done you'll see the crank pulley in front of you. Hope that helps.
