i have an evo 3 jdm engine in my 92 talon and it has an idle surge when its warm. it goes from 1000-1500 real fast. i know theres some part that has to be swapped out but what goes in its place?

You take the old IAC and replace it with a new IAC. There are few places that sell them or rebuild them. I bet a search would yeild great results. It should be the same as all IAC's from 91-99.

The ISC should be universal in all 4G63's. Check the TPS sensor on the top of the Throttle body, and push it down and make sure its secure... Check the breather hose and PCV hose running off the valve cover... finally, check the ISC for good voltage readings (so a search or go to vfaq.org). They are real sensative. My car needed a new ISC, and then the TPS sensor had actually loosed causing most of the idle surge. Oh yea, tighten up the BISS!

Hope this helps!
