So I got the talon back on the road this weekend. Drove it a little bit Friday then drove it a bunch on Saturday. I figure everything is fine and I go to leave Saturday night. I have absolutely no boost. I bring it back to my house and try to figure out what is causing it. It takes a while, but we figure out that the exhaust is leaking between the exhaust manifold and the turbo. I take the heat shield of and guess what I see. All four bolts that connect the manifold and the turbo are backed all the way out! I have absolutely no idea how this happened because I've never even had the heat shield off. So I tighten them up and go for a short drive. It's boosting great, but now I have a new problem. I can't control the boost. I had it up to 17psi before I let off. I didn't want to blow it up. What can I do to determine if it's the mbc, wastegate actuator or wastegate that's causing the problem? I did try shortening the spring in the mbc but that didn't help.

yeah all vacuum lines are hooked up.

I pulled on the wastegate actuator rod and it moves and seems like it works. it pulled out fine then when i let it go back there was pressure in it and i heard it push out.
