2.4 4g63 smokin?

My work car, a 95 galant with the sohc 4g63. Has started a bad habit in the past few month's. When I start it up it smokes, when I gun it, it smokes and lacks power unless it smokes. The check engine light is on. It does however have a lot of power so I *think* the motor is still good. Could it possibly just be the valve seals, any input would be helpful, oh yeah it also has 185,000 miles on it and the last time I changed the plugs, way to long ago< it needs new ones=power loss unless during anything under WOT they were wet with oil.

do a compression check first. your getting major blow by some where. the results from that may stand out like a sore thumb.

pics of the plugs would be nice. if there is no electrode then that would be a major problem.

I forgot to also mention I am getting major blow by, when I remove the oil cap oil blows out(while running of cours) that's what leads me to think the valve seals are shot
