I just bought the car it has 175,000 miles on it but only 600 on the rebuild so i have been keeping it under 4000 rpm's till i put some more miles on it. Any ways I came out of class this morning and went to start the car, heres what happend 1.) chug chug chug start ,horrible idle for about 4 to 5 seconds or less then it just shut off. I did this twice then was like hmm vaccume leak maybe ? Poped the hood and the clamp on the vaccume line to the bov had be put on just as the plastic nipple opend in to the line ( it did look like it was holding the line closed ). So i moved the clamp up to a safe spot and started the car about 2 minutes after that and it did start but the engine light is on..............So i take it to auto zone and the test comes back and says i have a bad cam shaft sensor . my questions is what the heck happend and how are these two related . Is it possible that it gave a false reading because the comp didnt know what to think ?? thanks for you help guys

i believe it, after this..........only day and a half i have had her
its cool thanks man
