2G Oil Pump in 1G

Will a 2G Oil pump work in a 1G because i just found out my oil pump isnt spinning freely when i went to replace my timing belt, so i need to replace my oil pump, like would i need just the pump or the cover too or the gears also, i dont know, and can i use one from a 2G

no the 2g wont work with the 1g....i know the front cover wont work for sure, but not sure bout the gears.
just get a 1g oilpump and be done
