Need a little help please...

I was driving home today and I heard a sqeeking noise. I thought it might be a loose belt. Looking under the hood I see the top most pully wobbling a little.. So I start to tighten the four 10mm bolts.. They all seem to be tight until I got to one that felt loose.. As Im tightning it the head comes off..
What do I need to do??. I was told my water pump was on its way out.. is this connected in any way?..
Any info will be appreciated greatly.. Ive got like 300 miles since I put my new turbo on and now this.. I dont even drive the car hard, maybe I should hehe..
Oh and now there's the sweet smell of metal smoking.. And a couple of puffs to go along with it...

Do you mean the power steering pump (right next to the dipstick)? The alternator is right under it. Not sure where the water pump on a DSM is tho. Good luck!

That pulley connects directly to the water pump. If it is wobbling your water pump is more than likely going bad. Is it leaking at all? As for the bolt...either way the water pump has to come off so it wont be a problem.

Thank you soooo much for replying... Yea my water pump was leaking then i put some stop leak stuff in it and it stopped.. So I need to replace the water pump.? I guess thats not a big deal..???

Its a pretty big job. Might as well do a timing belt while you are there since you have to take that off to get to it anyway. The best thing you can do at this point would be to read this http://www.vfaq.com/mods/timingbelt-1G.html Then decide if this is something you think you can tackle yourself or if you want to leave it up to a shop.
