turned my boost up this weekend, I think i was spiking at 24-25lbs then holding at 20

no knock till high up @ 6500-7000 RPM's and then only like 14 counts

I think i blew my headgasket, though not badly.. Pushed some fluid out my overflow tube (coolant)

I did get some impressive numbers on Gtech ;)

I'm thinking that i need to re torque my rocker arms (posibly?) and definatly get a new head gasket and some ARP studs..

is ticking an easy fix? (rocker arms?) or could it be bad?

This is super vague. What kind of ticking is it? It could be anything from lifter tick to a rod knocking. To check for the headgasket, do a compression test. As far as re torquing the rocker arms I have no idea what you are meaning by this. Your rocker arms are wedged between the lobes on the cams and the lifters\valves forming a sort of triangle. When you take the valve cover off you will see what I mean. You are going to have to give a little more advice on what the sound sounds like, its relation to RPM's, how loud it is, how frequent, does it go away sometimes, yadda yadda. Good luck and keep us updated!

ya i know its kinda vauge, and i have no idea what i ment by rocker arm returquing either.. haha

its a constant ticking that increases with RPM's, sounds like its high up (push rods valve's not sure....)

the only change was some hard driving on sunday and a posible blown headgasket

Check your exhaust manifold where it connects to the head. Re-torque the nuts on the studs there. Also inspect for lots of carbon build-up around the manifold.

An exhaust leak would be awsome (as aposed to some ####ed up engine internals)
I kinda listend and reved the engine, it didnt seem like exhaust at the time i'll double check in a bit here and see if i can hear anything coming from the exhaust manifold

but why would the exhaust mani come loose all of a sudden, could it be because of the increased boost levels? (thats kinda when it all started happening)

I also had a "radiator" light on this morning, so i stopped and put some radiator fluid in, but it only took like 15oz before it was full to the top. the light went off and hasn't come back on

ya im an idiot,

if anyone cares here's the fix

2 quarts low on oil, added oil, no more ticking (LOL)
