Small 16G effects Shifting?

I just got a small 16g installed into my car. It's all good except whenever I try to shift from 2nd to 3rd and up. The stick seems to get stuck in neutral and I have to force it into gear sometimes. It's not a smooth motion and I sometimes struggle to get it into a gear. Help please.

No, it doesn't grind. It's just hella hard to get it through the neutral position when shifting from one gear to another. Like it's real stiff.

That's not your turbo causing that . Sounds like your clutch may not be disengaging all the way. Check hydraulics/adjustments.
