So here's the story so far, I'm driving down to the local Autozone when my engine shuts off. The engine cranked, but wouldn't start up again. Came back the next morning, the car starts. So tonight we're coming back from Hershey when it does the same thing, only this time it starts up again after chilling for like half an hour. I'm no mechanic, but it seems to be related to engine temp. Could a bad sensor cause such problems? I've checked resistance values on every sensor listed in my Haynes manual, they all checked out ok. In other words, I'm stumped.
