Reset the Airbag System?

When I was fixing my horn buttons, I accidentially disconnected my airbag. I reconnected it, but now the SRS light stays on all the time. I thought if I left the car battery disconnected overnight it would reset, but it didn't. Any tips on how to get rid of that darn SRS light?

I think the dealer has to do it...let me check my service manual then ill report back

Yea they use a scan tool (part number MB991502) to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes, so you have to take it to a dealer.
