I've been noticing as of late that while my engine is idling it sometimes begins to sputter, as if it's about to shut off. The RPM's drop to around 700-550, but then picks back up and acts normally. What could this be? Power being sapped by something? Clogged injectors? Air pockets? I've used a code reader and the only problem that comes is a "small vaccum leak" (cant find the damn leak!) could this be the problem, getting bigger? :dsm: :talon: :laser:

BTW,
Something I've been thinking about. I recently had a pair of fidanza cam gears installed. They are set at 0 for the moment. Is there any chance the "0" setting is making my engine loose power from it was with the stock gears??

most likely it is indeed a small vacuum leak whats causing this... but yeah, its a b*itch to find them in 420a's...

You could do a thorough check for visible hose cracks all over your engine bay, start by the throtle body and intake manifold ones, or maybe the guys from 2gnt.com can give you a few hints...
