ok...i just replaced all the selas on the top end that could leak oil. NOW, i look under my car and see a little pool of oil. i pop my hood and i see where its coming from. theres a little hole beside the valve cover bolt on the far right corner on the front of the valve cover (closest to the timing belt). i never noticed it before but now i do because i have oil running out of it..i put a pin in it and it seems to go the whole way into wher ethe cams are. what is this hole for, and why the hell am i leaking from it?

uhh o my god!!! holy hell valley girl.LOL i never heard of a 710 cap.. but i figured out what the l that hole is for. a simple answer would have been sufficent. and it has NOTHING to do with the oil cap...i was putting my car back together after changing the timing belt and all the gaskets and stuff and stupid me forgot to tighten the inside valve cover bolts. oil cams out the seals and into the plug wells and valve cover..it was so full it drained out that hole from the inside where the spark plug wires are. ;)

ya. i already got a new seal from a mitsu dealer. that wasnt the problem tho. i didnt have my valve cover bolts tight enough. thanks for the info tho. :thumb:
