S-afc Install Problem

Hello, I was trying to install my AFC last night I used the diagram form vfaq.com when I was done installing it and turned on the car it rev up 2k rpm like normal then dropped to 1k rpm and then th ecar started to die and even if I gave it gas it would no longer rev and died. It seemed to me like It was not getting fuel or maybe to much fuel? but I have not even adjusted it and I had to take off the AFC to run normal again. There are 2 wires I did not install it was not in the diagram a yello wand white wire. do you know were they hook up to? and in vfaq.com the knock sensor wire it said to hook it up to a the positive wire on the AFC but it did not say wich wire. Any help would be great guys. Thanks

There's your problem, it needs to be set up to use a Karman type sensor.

We do not use them.

I'm not sure what that means, but the purple wire on the AFC goes to the ECU knock wire.
