i just switched my 95 tsi awd TB for a I'm assuming a JDM TB (only one vacum lport) well I put it in and it fixed my TB seal problem along with my crazy idle and it dosent want to die anymore like it did before but the new problem is well I start from point 1. I put it all togather and started it up and the second I started it up it stumbled like it was gonna die but it didnt and it started idleing fine well a little high at like 1300 or so but I think thats my BISS so. any way I put it in reverse got straight and took off down the road for a test run well now the shit wont go over 45 it's like thier is no power at all it absolutley will not go but if I slowly let off the gas it sorta picks up I dont know what it is I have my assumptions like more leaks etc etc but if anyone has a better guess then that that would be great thanks guys.

P.S. I did search

11 damn people have looked at this post and noone has left any info. Is it because you dont know or is it because you feel I should have searced better or what I try and help out as much as possible when I feel I can help out with others problems. To you all this may be nothing but to me this is a big deal I'm tired of looking at my non running beast and I want to take out and drive it for a change if just once LOL.

Hey,..get in line with your TB problems,..LOL

Anyways, if you got an idle at 1300rpms, adjust your BISS screw as that is easy enough,.Most likely it is more of a problem than that as you mentioned that it would probably be some sort of air leak/too much problem,..

If you switched TBs and you are getting this problem, check out the VFAQ links on idle surge,..this may help,..As for driving your car,..If you are getting an air leak, trying to accelerate with gas pedal, the air/fuel ratio would be all messed up leaving you with no acceleration or speed,..That may be why it gets better when you let off the gas which means better air/fuel ratio. I had a boost/air leak where car would drive fine till I hit 1-2psi of boost,..Air was leaking somewhere and too much fuel as I accelerated left me bogging my car,.

As for me, read my posts on idle surge and messed up TB swap Im having,..You think you had to wait looking at your car as if it was a classic collectable sitting in your garage (as I describe my car right now), my car has been down since last Sept with problems coming out of the blue,..

thanks for the reply brother I think you actually might be very close to being right man I'm gonna check all that out and adjust my BISS. I do apologize for the complaint but damn man I was so mad because I thought I had fixed it but I didnt you know but you made alot of sense even if your wrong you still made very good sense. thanks again.
