Hey I can't seem to find any remedies for this question anywhere else and if I missed it I'm sorry but everytime that my sunroof is all the way down and I shut the door, it pops up a good 1/2 " or so (enough for me to stick my hand in) I was wondering if the seal is bad or whats going on. Can anyone help??

Thanks - Josh

Mine does the same thing, and MINE is actaually a little loose on the mounting bolts.

I aswell have yet to find a remedy, or a tightening kit, aside from tearing it apart myself.

also, is there a way to REMOVE the glass for a full open roof?

there's just 6 star-head screws that hold the glass in.. remove those and the glass will come right off... then there will still be the support bars there though... i'm not sure what you're asking lordpaxin..
dunno if i helped either :p

like, it looks like you could flip the lever, and just pull the glass, and it would slide out,

but does all it do is raise a few inches in the back>?

the roof is easy to remove. the the screws out at the latch and then tilt it up and the back side will come out. taking it out might make it eiser to see all the scres on it.

You don't even need to remove any screws to take the glass out. When you open (pop up) the sunroof, there are two "hinges" that raise up and support the rear end of the glass. You take these and squeeze them togther, then they should slide up and forward a little. This will allow you to remove the back end of the glass. After that, the front just slides out of two slots. Also, there may or may not be a safety wire there that you need to unhook. Not sure exactly what it is there for. Mine has one, but my father's '90 Laser does not.

NOTE: Might be a little tricky at first. An extra set of hands helps the first time you take it out You wouldnt want to drop and bust that glass now would ya?
