Electric problem car starts then dosent.

OK it all started about nov of last year I was driving and the car statred to lose power everthing flickered it was weried pulled over and shut it off then it started back up drove home it happened all the way home. Took the battery out and checked it it was fine put it back in and havent had a problem till about 2 weeks ago I got in my car and it had power then as I turned the key nothing the whole car was dead no power got out checked the treminals banged on the terminals got in started fine then tonight I stoped at a friends house left and again the same thing tried the same thing and nothing car was completly dead. I let it sit for a minute opened the door and power ok start the car again dead completly. Jump it with cables and it started but my aftermarket tach was jumping all over when I turned on the lights it made everthing reset like my car dimmed and came back on ( To give a better example my radar detecter reset. drove it home and shut it off tried to start it again and nothing completly dead then I get out and as I walk away I lock the doors and all the lights turned on in the cabin. Jump in and try to start it again same thing its like the whole car just goes dead and theres this clicking coming from the fuse box under my hood. HELP PLEASE.

Recheck all your grounds (battery to engine, battery to body, engine to body). Disconnect, clean, and retighten ALL of them. Same for the + cable. Also battery terminals themselves.

Well the car is running I took the neg terminal off and discovered corrosion between the terminal and post cleaned it and the pos and its working well only thing is it started to act up tonight was dreiving and the car started to loose powere again stoped at a light and it went away Think it could be one of the main wireing harnesses going out.
