Very rough idle and wont accelerate at all!!

Well here is my new adventure in the DSM troubleshoting world.


I was driving home a the runnig perfectly smoth as silk then when
i stoped at a red ligth all of a suden it started e VERY ROUGH IDLE it didint die but after thids the engine has no power at all.
I can hardly accelerate I was close to my home anyway so kept on going.
Things I already check:
1.Spark pllug wires were ok.
2.Spark pulgs all 4 were ok(I use ngk br7es)
3.The car doesnt smoke one bit, nothing at all. (Lucky me)
4.Air filter is not clogged.

The BOOST gauge bounces from 6 IN HG close to 0 PSI it used to read a steady 17IN HG all the time.This reading of couse is at IDLE.


Iwas thinking that the cause of this could be clogged FUEL FILTER since ive owned my car I havent changed.
Could a weak fuel preasure cause me this problem.
Or could it be something else.PLEASE could someone help me out on this.

MAF. Make sure it's plugged in fully, and make sure it's ok. Swap it out with someone that you know and you know theirs works.

OK I will try that.
By the way I replaced the fuel filter and that didi not fixed it.
Also I swaped the ignition coils and that did not help one bit.
Tomorrow I will try the MAF swap then.
If this doesnt help waht else could I look in too.
