I'm sorry folks, but if you could help me out w/ this one little question, i'd appreciate it. I've been on the search for an hour but I couldn't find an answer. If you've read my other thread you'd know that my crank pulley seperated recently. Now my questions for you guys is:

Can I get the pulley off by removing the four 12mm bolts, or would I indeed have to break that big center bolt free?

Also, timing belt is still on, and i've read about getting the center bolt off w/ a breaker bar and *bumping* the starter for a second, so i'm assuming that this method is a safe way to loosen it w/out ruining internals. Is it okay w/ my timing belt still on to move the crank clockwise when I would tighten it back?

Thanks ya'll.:dsm:

just replaced mine yesterday after my crank pulley went...
just takes the 4 outer bolts and it shoudl come off with very minor prying... you'll have to use a wrench or something on the center bolt though to keep the crank from turning while you loosen/tighten the 4 outer bolts

Hrmm, i've noticed that you guys have a n/t and a 2g/t. Can I assume it's the same for a 1g/t?
