I just rebuilt the engine. It has about 200 miles on it. Last night I was just driving down the road and all the sudden I get an extreme amount of power loss and the check engine light comes on. I went from 35 mph to about 5 in 3 seconds. Pulled over and the car is barely staying alive. Get out and check everything over, cant find nothin out in the dark on the side of the road so I drive it back home at 10 mph. (it was only like 2 miles thank god) Get it in the garage and start messin with stuff. I notice that if I unplug the #4 injector the car will die. Good sign. If I unplug the #3 absolutly nothing happens. Bad sign. Same thing happens if I unplug the #2....nothin happens. If I unplug the #1 she will die. I checked for power at the injector plug and its there on all 4. I am thinking that the injectors might be clogged or just went out. They are the 450 stockers. But what I am really worried about is how those 2 went out at the same time ya know. I am thinking that something else might be jacked up too like a bunk valve or somethin. If i hold a rag up to the tail pipe while its idling everyother time it will suck it back up the tail pipe. Dont know if this is just because its missing on two cyl or if I have a jacked up valve somewhere. Any input is appreciated. And is there any way of cleaning an injector while its out of the car?
