skipped tooth on timing belt?

When I was taking my flywheel and clutch off I put a 1/2 drive into the flywheel pulley and turned it about half a turn. I did this in both directions and am wondering if I should worry that I may have skipped a tooth on the timing belt. If it's a possibility then how could i check to make sure i didnt?
 
Unless you timing belt is abnormally loose that shouldn't have caused a problem. If your really worried then you have two choices.

First is simple but not 100% accurate. Pull the top belt cover off and then turn the crank until the timing mark on the crank pulley lines up with the T on the lower timing cover (TDC) and check that the cam sprockets timing marks line up with each other and the line formed but the top of the block and bottom of the head (ie. the head gasket). The second is to pull all the accessory belts, the driverside engine mount, both timing covers, the crank pully and compare the timing marks on the sprockets as shown in the timing belt VFAQS or the service manuals.

That second method seems a little overkill for my worries. I'm not under the impression that I skipped any teeth because I was pretty cautious about it and didn't feel anything. I asked because I've seen people warning about turning the pulley by hand. I also ask because i'm trying to diagnose what I think to be a problem. After playing with my afc settings for 1k rpm, the lowest i can get my timing to go is 17. No idea what my fuel trims are at anymore, so that may be the problem. I'll set those tomorrow.
 
As stated in your book you should always rotate clockwise because of this. the things in the books help ya usually :D.

check your spark timing with a light if you are worried about that. :D
