Installed BR 2.5 Exhaust, Throws O2 Code??

Whatsup, just finished installing my new 2.5 inch SS buschur racing turbo back. I probably would have added a few more attachment points to the stock rubber hangers, but I guess im not as wise as DB, but thats beside the point. Anyways after datalogging after installing the exhaust, I threw a code 11, oxygen sensor. Now I noticed during removing the old exhaust there was a ground connected near the cat. Anyone think that this ground is effective my o2 sensor? If so anyone have this problem and find a useful mounting point for this ground? There's obiviously no small bolts near this hting to attach it to, on the frame or on the exhaust. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Well for the exhaust ground you could use a clamp around it that has a ground wire running to the unibody somewhere. Should be a easy quick install. Not sure how good the o2 sensor would be grounded through the o2 housing alone.... But it is very easy to test a o2 sensor alone. Take it out and hook a volt meter to it. it should read about .1V or 100mV. Put the o2 sensor in the tourch then and observe readings. It should climb to about .9V or 900mV. Pull it out of the flame still while observing readings and it should instantly fall to .1V. I hope that helped answer your questions. Good luck!

If you have a test pipe there instead of a cat conv, you'll have that CE light. If that is the case, you can either take off the rear 02 sensor and wrap it in aluminum foil, or take out the instrument gauge and remove the bulb.

If you have a cat, disregard all I just said.
