Oceanside,
So for some reason my ecu is retarding my timing and i don't know why.
i don't think it is because of knock because my s-afc II is not reading any, i know that most s-afc's don't read knock on 2G's but when i first got the s-afc II is was reading all kinds of knocks, then i had the s-afc tuned and now it is posted a zero, maby it's not accurate. also lifter tick is a possibility but i don't know anything about it, my engine sounds fine at idle and all the way to redline, i just replaced my plugs and i'm getting new wires tomorrow aswell as doing a pressure test.

So if it's not the wire's or boost leak what could it be?

The other problem is i don't have a logger or the money to buy one so that has kind of screwed me.

Any info would be Appreciated, Thanks

went i was on the dyno yesterday the person who tuned it said that the timing is being pulled for some reason, my run's on the dyno would be up to 12whp diffrence on every run, so i surpose i don't really know but my car feels really slow, and the max whp i made was 237.9 at 3900 rpm i think i should be making more what do you think.

The wideband o2 sensor at the dyno.

I noticed that you don't have any injectors in your mod list. What injectors and boost are you running?

Uh, you're not reading accurate knock with a S-AFC2 on a 2g. Please do yourself a favor and yank that wire. If you want to view knock, get a stand alone, or get DSMLink, please do not trust the S-AFC2 as it is giving you incorrect readings.

ok i will not trust the s-afcII, but never the less the ecu is still pullling timing, i did a pressure test and repaired two vacume leaks, and no change. If i am getting lifter tick how can i tell and how do i fix it.
also my upper ic piping is very hot on my stock intercoller can this affect timing.
