Two problems !! please help

Ok the first problem is that sometimes when im driving and i go to shift into 4th it just grinds and pops out of gear. (any ideas??)

another problem is that after i go into work in the mornings i come back outside and see a little puddle of antifreeze i think under my car? does that sound like waterpump?

how many miles on the gearbox? maybe 4th gear synchros are wearing out, it's weird thou that 4th gear would go first. Where's the puddle under? Look on your waterpump and see if it's wet, but I doubt it's the water pump, since coolant is running thru it all the time, you'd notice it during driving too.

Are you loosing coolant? If you arn't check your other fluids. Take a sample from the ground and put it on a piece of paper. If it is a lubricating fluid it will turn hte paper clearish. Easy way to tell if it is oil or water. (brown butcher paper works best...try it at home with some cooking oil to see what I mean).

If my synchro was messed up how would i fix that?? would a new clutch fix the problem ?
