2 days ago I did my front cover, all belts, all seals..

on the balence shaft belt ("timing belt B") everything looked perfect.. the crank mark and the balence shaft mark were perfect.. when doing the oil pump gear i did the proper method of pointing the mark straight up and making sure it fell to the left (towards front of car) and all the timing stuff lined up..

BUT

at like between 1500 and 2500 rpm i can feel SOME vibration in the steering wheel (at idel and when driving) and I cant say i noticed it before.. its not like a violent shaking or anything.. but it I do notice it.

my question is.. is it possable for the balence shaft to be 180 off and still line up like the oil pump can or not? it seems if it was 180 off the car would vibrate ALOT not just a little.. in fact if i didnt have urithane motor mounts its debatable if i could feel it at all..

so the possable probs are:

A: blanece shaft is off a tooth or 2..

B: oil pump is off a tooth or 2

I dont think anything is super off since the vibration is really slight and cant be felt at all past 3k..

will this hurt anything if i leave it be? ive been driving it this way for 2 days with no ill effects (no leaks or anything)..

im just a little worried, what should I do?

oh yea, the car runs normal and accelerates perfect.. etc etc runs really smooth and all, so its not out of time..

It is possible and probably what is wrong. There is a bolt in the lower rear of the block, remove that set your timing marks up and insert a phillips screwdriver in the hole, if it bearly goes in your 180 out. I would recomend a chiltons repair manual. It will show you pictures to make it easy. If you dont want to buy it just go to books a million and take a look at it. Let me know if that helped.
