Lifter Ticking

Sorry if this is posted anywhere else but i think my case is unique. Over the weekend i was feed up with the lifter tap. So i decided to take the valve cover off and have at it. Read the vfaq and followed instructions on how to clean. Got all the lifters cleaned but one. This one was so clogged that the brake cleaner didnt even work. This was the one that i thought was making the ticking noise. So i decided to go buy a replacement lifter. When i got the new lifter the hole on the top was 10 times bigger. Thought maybe Mitsu was smart and made their new lifters bigger to curculate more oil but when i put the lifter back in it stopped ticking just enough to get me excited then it started again worse then ever. Now here is my question. Will i have to buy all new lifter(one was $18 so that like 260 for 16) to get this tapping away or did my install of the revised lifter actually make it worse?? Also i did feel an increase in power after i cleaned them, is that right by just cleaning them i will get more power??? Thanks alot in advance!!!

You should feel an increase in power considering Lifter Tick contributes to the stupid 2g knock sensor retarding timing (And thus usually your idle being VERY high, mine idles around 1k when it's tickin...)

It's best just to replace all your lifters at once and if you go here you can get all 16 for like 180 dollars.

They have them for $199.00 but if you ever ordered anything from them you no that they usually nock off half the price.
