I installed a 2.5" turboback exhaust (no cat), along w/ a gauge and joe p boost controller. I started w/ it all the way backed out and did a few runs in 3rd gear. It'd hit 10, and stay there until about 4.5 and then creep to about 16 by the time I was a bit over 5K.

I twisted in a bit further each time, and now I'm about halfway in, and it'll still start at 10, and then creep at the same place, maybe even a bit faster.

Is my wastegate or the controller not working right? It should be letting it hit higher first, but I thought even at halfway it should be hitting a few psi higher unless something was wrong.

I'm pretty sure I did, I stared at the directions and the controller long enough to make it looked right. here's a couple pics.

here's a closeup of how far I"ve screwed it in. It still holds steady at 10 then rises.

well it's just not hooked up all the way. where the line goes from the MBC to the BOV, there is supposed to be a T fitting in the middle so you can connect a line to the intake manifold too. you need the line going to the wastegate actuater going to the side of the boost controller. so switch those around too. go to http://www.carreview.com/projecteclipseboostcontrollercrx.aspx different brand but it doesn't matter. they're all designed like that. you will see what to do. the PO of my car had mine hooked up way wrong. fix it and go play with the boost :thumb:
