bad misfire problem.. at 2700/3000 rpms...

car runs fine up to that rpm range, and if i feather the throttle (i.e. barely open) i can get it past that but it does it again at 4000 or 4500

i have 510cc injectors, wahlbro pump, big 16g set to very low boost till i get this figured out...

any ideas?? i changed a coil pack, no effect, and played with a few things here and there... but still have the problem...

by the way, its a 6 bolt with a 97 GSX ecu and wiring harness in a dodge avenger that i made into all wheel drive...

please help... i just want to drive my car now!!

as far as your problem, try simply plugs or/and wires. coil pack didnt do anything cause they dont really start dying, they either work or they dont.
 
well, i will go ahead and try that next...

some other advice i recieved was that it may not be getting enough fuel, when i go WOT thats when it happens the worst.

well, you wanted pics.... how bout a link to the progress from begining till just about now?? cept i now have a different upper intercooler pipe... and a 1st gen BOV... i will get new pics up in a day or so.

i think i may have discovered my problem. i found a MAF at a junkyard from a v6 dodge stealth..... plugged right into my car so i thought i was good to go.

i was hooked up to a wideband o2 sensor and i had really bad readings, then i unplugged the MAF and they smoothed out almost instantly.

well, today i unhooked it and drove it... no cut out... but when i shifted the car took a second to get rpms all matched up....

so. i guess i need the correct MAF and my problem should be solved.

man, now i feel like an idiot.... ahh well, live and learn...:thumb:
